The outer tire material is made of a flexible material. Depending on the size and power we adjust the stiffness of the tire.
When picking a size, reference a size you have now and look for a tire similar to start. As you race you will tune your car with different sizes and gear ratios. Look at the specs on a manufactures site for the diameter and width and compare to what we have available
When going to a 3d printed paddle you will need to gear down about 2 teeth to start depending on the size tire you pick
The tires are extremely durable. They are not a bashing tire and made for sand or soft dirt. We have had some racers use them on harder surfaces but they will wear out faster.
We have racers using everything from 2s all the way up to 12s. It depends on the wheel and how you are using the tires. If you have special application contact us and we can make the tires stronger. Typically the 1oth scale tires are rated at 2s-4s.
