Description

Losi Promoto Rear Paddle Tire.   This is a 3d printed paddle tire.  It’s a semi soft compound.  The firmness of the tire works best for sand as it doesn’t deform under high rpm or power. We have found this combination of paddles and material provides the best battery performance in the Sand. The tires start out shiny but turns to a matte finish after use.  Tire is for SAND ONLY. Hard packed dirt and hard surfaces will cause premature wear on the tire.

They are designed to not need glue but depending on rim and conditions you may need to add a small amount of glue to the inside of the rim if tire stars to slip.  The tire will also come with a small ring that fills the gap between the rim and tire. This is mainly for looks and doesn’t effect performance..  A small amount of glue may be needed on the ring to hold in place.

Tips:  Make sure front wheel is free spinning freely.   Also removing the lean bars will keep the bike from catching the sand on sharp turns or side hilling.   If mainly running in sand losen the front brake or removing will help.   If you oil your chain make sure you wipe most of the oil off before running in the sand.
